Larissa Franchuk, PA-C is a physician assistant who is certified by the NCCPA and licensed by the state of Arizona. She has over 15 years of experience as a dermatology physician assistant.
Prior to completing her education, she served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman for 4 years. It is here that she met her husband who also served in the US Navy for 22 years.
Larissa graduated Summa Cum Lade from Old Dominion University obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001. She then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her Master of Physician Assistant degree in 2004. For the next nine years, she was trained by and worked under former American Academy of Dermatology president, Dr. David Pariser.
After Larissa’s husband retired from the Navy in 2012, they moved from Virginia to Arizona. She joined Valley of the Sun Dermatology shortly after arriving.
Larissa’s particular areas of interest are diagnosing skin cancer, acne, and psoriasis.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and husband. She also loves participating in Crossfit, camping and golfing.
