What is The UltraClear Laser?
The UltraClear Laser is an advanced cold fiber laser technology designed to resurface the skin with high precision, control, and less downtime and discomfort. This laser system offers customizable treatment depths, allowing treating providers to address a wide range of skin concerns while tailoring downtime to fit individual lifestyles. UltraClear is used for comprehensive skin improvement, from subtle treatments to more intensive resurfacing focused on texture, tone, and visible signs of aging.
What Can UltraClear Treat?
UltraClear is used to improve overall skin quality and address both early and more advanced skin concerns. By stimulating collagen renewal and controlled skin resurfacing, this treatment can help improve:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven Skin Texture
- Sun Damage and Photodamage
- Pigmentation Irregularities
- Enlarged Pores
- Acne Scars and Superficial Scarring
- Dull or Rough Skin
- Surgical Scars
- Acne Scars
- Burn Scars
Who is an UltraClear Candidate?
Many patients concerned about skin texture changes, early to severe aging, sun damage, uneven tone, or scarring may be good candidates for UltraClear. The treatment can be adjusted to suit a variety of skin types and goals. However, individuals with certain active skin conditions, infections, or healing concerns may need to delay treatment or explore alternative options. A personalized consultation is the best way to determine candidacy, appropriate treatment options, and expected recovery.
How Does UltraClear Work?
UltraClear works by creating precise microscopic channels in the skin using controlled laser energy. These micro-injuries activate the body’s natural healing response, encouraging collagen production and cellular turnover. Unlike traditional lasers that rely heavily on heat, UltraClear’s cold fiber technology limits thermal damage to surrounding tissue. This allows for effective resurfacing while supporting smoother healing and more predictable results. As the skin repairs itself, treated areas gradually appear smoother, firmer, and more even toned.
Levels of Treatment
Superficial
Clear 3DMIRACL superficial treatments are ideal for patients ages 18–50 who have concerns related to pigmentation, vascular dyschromia, mild photodamage, and overall skin complexion. No topical numbing is required, making this a comfortable option for maintaining and enhancing your skin’s appearance with minimal downtime.
Moderate
UltraClear moderate treatment modes may include an Ultra first pass followed by a second pass using Clear, Clear+, or a Moderate UltraClear single pass. These treatments are well-suited for addressing scars, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and moderate signs of aging, offering noticeable improvements with a manageable recovery.
Advanced
UltraClear advanced treatment modes include all UltraClear resurfacing options, utilizing multi-pass, multi-depth, and high-influence settings. These treatments are ideal for more advanced signs of aging, including deep lines and wrinkles, as well as concerns involving the jawline and overall skin laxity.
Laser-Coring
Laser-Coring advanced treatment combines laser-coring technology with all UltraClear modes, including multi-pass and multi-depth approaches. This option is ideal for treating advanced signs of aging, deep lines and wrinkles, and targeted areas such as the periorbital and perioral regions, jowls, and jawline. It works to combat the effects of aging and gravity by promoting collagen remodeling and skin rejuvenation, without the need for scalpels or sutures.

UltraClear Results
Following an UltraClear treatment, patients typically experience redness, warmth, and mild swelling, which vary depending on the treatment depth, lasting between 20 minutes and four hours. Lighter treatments may involve only a few days of redness, while deeper resurfacing can require a longer recovery period as the skin renews itself. Skin redness can persist for 36 to 48 hours. Skin sloughing or exfoliation can occur for three to seven days. Your skin should appear normal within seven days post-treatment. Enhancement can continue over weeks to months as collagen remodeling progresses. Many patients achieve optimal results through several treatments, and maintenance sessions annually may be recommended to support long-term skin health.
