Embark on your journey towards flawless skin with the transformative power of Vbeam laser technology at Clear Dermatology & Aesthetics Center.

What is VBeam Perfecta Laser?

This laser utilizes pulsed-dye technology to target skin lesions and conditions associated with redness. Most commonly, VBeam Perfecta laser is used to treat scars, cherry angiomas, telangiectasias (broken blood vessels), port wine stains, and rosacea. We offer topical numbing cream prior to the procedure, so the treatment is very tolerable and quick. There is no downtime other than some post-treatment redness that typically resolves within a day. Results can be seen immediately, but often, several treatments may be necessary to achieve and maintain optimal results.

Who Is a Candidate For VBeam Laser Treatment?

Ideal candidates for treatment using the VBeam Perfecta Laser are those individuals seeking to address skin conditions and concerns such as facial redness, hypertrophic scars, broken capillaries, rosacea, vascular lesions, visible blood vessels, or sun damage. Patients should be looking to improve the overall appearance of their skin with minimally invasive treatment options. VBeam laser treatment is ideal for those with fair skin to olive skin tones. Those who have recently tanned or have dark skin are not the best candidates for this treatment as the risk of scarring, irritation, and more severe symptoms increases with more melanated skin tones. As always, it is important that each candidate is in good overall health and that they maintain realistic expectations regarding the outcomes of their procedure.

VBeam Laser Procedure

After attending a consultation at Clear Dermatology & Aesthetics Center, wherein your medical history, skin concerns, and procedure goals are discussed, you will attend your first appointment. During the procedure, you will be asked to wear protective eyewear to prevent any eye irritation from the light emitted by the device. The VBeam laser device is then moved across the skin while the pulsed dye laser technology delivers a short burst of laser energy. This energy is absorbed by blood vessels or areas of pigmentation without damaging the surrounding skin. Each device is equipped with cooling technology to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the entire process.

VBeam Laser Results and Recovery

There is no required downtime following your treatment. Immediately after your VBeam laser session, you may experience very slight soreness or swelling in the treated area. This sensation is not unlike a mild sunburn. Following treatment, it is important that you avoid exposure to the sun and wear sunscreen when you go outside for at least one week. Optimal results will begin to show around 4-8 weeks after your first treatment. The number of sessions needed will vary from patient to patient, but generally, 3-6 sessions spaced one month apart are ideal for the best results.
