Michael Abril is a board-certified physician assistant and Arizona native. He attended the University of Arizona, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. After his undergraduate degree, Michael developed and furthered his passion for dermatology by working in the field as a medical and surgical assistant.

He went on to further his education by obtaining a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL. During this time, Michael completed rotations in numerous areas of medicine, including a dermatology rotation at Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute. After completing his master’s program, Michael returned to Arizona to practice as a physician assistant. He currently holds memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Michael enjoys evaluating and treating a variety of dermatological conditions including skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, and eczema. After suffering from acne, he learned what impact the quality of one’s skin could have on their overall health and well-being. Through his experience, he loves being able to help patients with personalized recommendations to help them look and feel their best!
